Operation Rules of Police Equipment Maintenance Plant, National Police Agency, Ministry of the Interior
Amended and promulgated on December 30, 2013 under the Ministry of Interior Order No. TNJZ1020873924F, and took effect on January 1, 2014.

Article 1. The Operation Rules is specifically formulated to specify the division of responsibilities for the internal units of the Police Equipment Maintenance Plant, National Police Agency, Ministry of the Interior (hereafter the “Plant”).

Article 2. The Plant director shall manage the Plant affairs as well as direct and supervise the Plant personnel. The Plant’s deputy director shall assist the director in handling the Plant’s affairs.

Article 3. The Plant's divisions and offices are as follows:
  1. Police Equipment Management Division.
  2. Vehicle Management Division.
  3. Administrative Office.
Article 4. The Police Equipment Management Division shall take charge of the following:
  1. Police weapon repair and parts manufacturing.
  2. Supervise the police department's weapons and ammunition storage.
  3. Counseling for various police agencies on weapon inspection and training.
  4. Other matters related to police weapons and ammunition.
Article 5. The Vehicle Management Division shall take charge of the following:
  1. Police vehicle repair and maintenance.
  2. Counseling for various police agencies on vehicle maintenance.
  3. Other matters related to police vehicles.
Article 6. The Administrative Office shall take charge of the following:
  1. Secretaries, general affairs, information, research and examination, the legal system, and public relations.
  2. Supervision and political atmosphere.
  3. Other support services.
Article 7. The Plant shall establish a personnel administrator to handle personnel management matters according to the law.

Article 8. The Plant shall establish a chief accountant to handle yearly accounting, accounting, and statistics matters.

Article 9. The Plant shall handle the matters under the hierarchical responsibility system, and authorization for each level shall be determined according to the hierarchical responsibility detail list.

Article 10. The Operation Rules shall take effect on January 1, 2014.
